Hakone: Ryoken

After Yunessun, we returned directly to our Ryoken where we learned that we were the only guests for the night.  Whoa!  A major perk of traveling in the "off" season.  We stayed at the Ohmiya Ryoken, and it was fantastic.  So here's the photo dump!

Then soak in the water.  We were really, really glad we did not have to share with anyone else, because we are very shy!

Hakone!  Nice and sunny the day we leave.

We had only booked one night at the Ryoken because it was a bit pricier than elsewhere, though a great price for the services rendered.  We had been given a free pass to an outdoor onsen down the street (so an outdoor bath in a hot spring) but we did not use it because that would have meant taking a public bath.  We are shy people and decided that we were ok with that!  We were again driven to the station by the manager (?) with all of our luggage, and we jumped on board the train to Kyoto!
